A suit for all Seasons...
An old photograph of Ernest Hemingway was the original inspiration for our latest release. Designed with the iconic author in mind, it remains true to &SONS' heritage while leading our new Sartorial Range. This suit draws inspiration from the travel-style suits worn by Cary Grant and Gregory Peck, as well as the lightweight safari suits seen on adventurers and journalists during the Second World War.
Inspired by the past
Crafted from 100% brushed cotton, the midnight blue jacket is light enough for summer travels but tough enough for everyday adventures. This design harks back to the rugged charm of these style icons and the adventurous spirits of early 20th-century explorers. The jacket features internal contrasting piped seams and a versatile collar that can be worn open for a laid-back look or buttoned up for a sharper style. Faded pocket prints and pencil stitch details add a touch of timeless character, as if they’ve already lived a thousand stories.
The jacket pairs perfectly with our denim or tan Virgil chinos, ideal for those days when you want to keep it relaxed. A simple change by tucking in the pocket flaps can transform the suit from a formal outfit to an everyday day ‘chore jacket’ look, making it a versatile addition to any wardrobe.
Built to Last
Each part stands strong on its own, bringing unique charm to your wardrobe. Together, they form a timeless classic, an outfit that speaks of past journeys and future adventures. The natural Corozo buttons add a raw, organic touch, ensuring each suit has its own subtle variations. Designed with longevity in mind, it promises to be a future heirloom, carrying forward the stories of its wearers for generations to come.
The Hemingway Suit can be worn separately, with both the trousers and jacket pairing effortlessly with other &SONS garments and collections for a more relaxed, everyday look.
