ORIGINS

The Lord Shorts are our summer salute to one of the most hard-wearing, practical garments ever made — the carpenter trouser. Worn by generations of tradesmen, makers and grafters, these trousers were built for long days on-site, with reinforced stitching, tool pockets and loops designed for function over fashion.

We’ve taken that timeless silhouette and reworked it for warmer days — keeping the workwear DNA intact but cutting it above the knee. Every detail nods to the original: from the hammer loop and side utility pocket, to the heavyweight canvas that softens with wear but holds its shape through the seasons.
