Inspired by ancient weaving techniques from Mexico, this is a unique take on the modern handbag
The wooden handles are carved from premium timber that is smooth and comfortable to hold. The fabric bag is made of 100% cotton and woven into a traditional, vibrant design. The inside features an interior pocket for smaller items.
It can be fastened on the inside with a small D-ring. This bag can be transformed into an over-the-shoulder bag by attaching our Lasso Belt to the D-ring and the dog clip that is attached to the outside of the bag.

The Chimayo pattern is also known as the Ortega pattern and originated in the early 18th century. Traditionally, durable fabrics were made from sheep’s hair called ‘Churo’ and were woven into the ancient pattern. These techniques were used for everything from jackets to rugs and were passed down through the generations.
