Military-Inspired, Modern Versatility
The DAMSONS Combat Jacket is our take on the Military style utility jacket. This lightweight khaki jacket is a timeless piece, made from 280gsm 98% organic cotton with 2% elastane blend, with reinforced elbow patches and epaulettes on both shoulders. The interior drawcord can be adjusted at the waist, and the branded labels are all made from recycled polyester. We have balanced form and function to create a flattering design.
With its utilitarian feel, this practical jacket looks great paired with indigo jeans, brown brogue boots or workboots, t-shirts, shirts, and jumpers. Pair with fancy flats for a more glamorous occasion instead of a traditional sneaker.

Made in Turkey
The original military jacket dates back to the eighteenth century with the regimental uniform of the Hussars, members of the Hungarian Cavalry. The top of the uniform was more of a tailcoat than a jacket, which consisted of the main axis of geometrical cuts in a rectangle form, epaulettes, shoulder pads, and buttons on the front.
