Our boots have a proud story to tell

Our Hudson Boots are hand-crafted in the Peak District by William Lennon & Co Ltd, a fourth-generation family business founded in 1899 to provide the local quarrying and lead-mining industries with rugged footwear.

These unique Hudson work-boots – where each pair has been hand-made using original artisan techniques – are available in a choice of Tan, Black or Dark Horween Oxblood. The full range of traditional riveted, stitched & screwed footwear produced under the ‘William Lennon’ label includes fully sprung lasted hill boots and shoes, hob-nailed boots and leather sole footwear using the finest leathers and components.

William Lennon & Co Ltd has been manufacturing branded footwear in their current Peak District premises since 1904 and are now the only remaining heavy-duty safety, foundry and agricultural boot manufacturer in the UK. The team at &SONS want this great heritage of hand-made leather boots to continue and be passed on to the next generation. With your support the incredible boot-making skills of these Peak District workers will continue to be used to make such supremely versatile footwear as our fabulous Hudson Boots.
