The latest addition to our HARD.WEAR Collection, the Joey Crew Pant, is not just a testament to durability and practicality but also a unique collaboration inspired by the legendary Joey Pantoliano. Affectionately known as Joey Pants, the Hollywood icon and avid &SONS supporter played an instrumental role in the evolution of this distinctive pant.
Our Founder, Phil James, initially conceptualised the Crew Pant after enduring the challenges of his photography career. Faced with uncomfortable working conditions, he sought to merge the functionality of carpenter's work trousers with a more aesthetic and comfortable design. The result? The Crew Pant with 11 practical pockets, reinforced seams, and knee protection.
Phil's ideas extended beyond his own experiences, aiming to create a versatile pant for individuals across various industries. This commitment to purposeful design caught the attention of none other than Joey Pants himself.
Joey, a loyal customer of &SONS, not only embraced the functionality of the original Crew Pant but also recognised its potential for broader appeal. Inspired by the design, he reached out to our team with a simple request: could we produce them in another colour? Being avid fans of Joey and his remarkable contribution to the film industry, we couldn't resist the opportunity to collaborate.
Crafted from a 280gsm Dobby weave, the pant features a unique 97% Cotton and 3% Elastane blend for optimal comfort and flexibility. The 11 pockets, hammer loop, and knee protection with side zip entry ensure you're equipped for any task, whether you're on set or in the workshop.
